SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE

 

Ingredients:

½   cup butter

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 eggs

½    pint (1 cup – 8 ounces) sour cream (light sour cream is fine)

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 cups sifted all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

                    Topping:

½    cup sugar

½    cup chocolate chips

¾    cup chopped walnuts

1 teaspoon cinnamon

 

Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla and eggs.  Beat in sour cream and sifted dry ingredients. Put 2/3 batter into greased bundt pan.  Add  ½   topping, put in rest of batter.  Put topping on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes.
