Basic Turkey Meatloaf
2 lbs. ground turkey
1 small onion, minced OR 1 envelope dry onion soup mix (I use the soup mix)
1 clove garlic, minced
2 heaping tbs. catsup or other favorite tomato product (chili sauce, salsa or tomato sauce or paste)
1/2 cup dry seasoned breadcrumbs
1 tbs. worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper as desired
1 tbs. fresh minced parsley
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except paprika by hand until well-blended. Pack into a 9x5 loaf or meatloaf pan. Bake at 350 about 45 minutes or until top is browned and meat is cooked. Drain off any excess fat. Sprinkle top of loaf with paprika and serve with mashed potatoes. Meatloaf is especially good sliced when cold and made into sandwiches.
