Banana Nut Bread
serves 10
Ingredients:
3 bananas
1/2 cup or 1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
Mash bananas, set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients in order given. Add the mashed bananas and mix well. Divide batter between 2 well-greased, lightly floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Use a toothpick to test for doneness. Cool loaves in the pans for 15 minutes, then turn out onto wire racks to cool completely.
